Submit your work and nominate your colleagues for the 2018 "Graduate School Award for PhD Excellence"

To further stimulate and reward PhD research, the Graduate Schools invites its PhD candidates and recent graduates to submit their work and nominate their colleagues for the "Graduate School Awards for PhD Excellence". The deadline for submission is December 21 (Friday) 2018.

We welcome submissions for the following categories: poster presentation, conference paper, article or chapter in an edited volume, and PhD dissertation. In addition, we have included four new categories:

  • Best EGSH teacher
  • Best PhD supervisor
  • Best media performance by PhD candidate
  • Best PhD colleague

Given the ever increasing amount of submissions we will be more strict with the requirement that academic submissions for the award need to demonstrate multidisciplinarity or the usage of multiple methods. Winners receive a small sum of money and a certificate honouring their achievement. The winners will be announced in March, 2019.
