PhD course programme 2021-2022 now available and open for registration!

Dear PhD candidates and supervisors,

It is again with pride and joy that we present our PhD course guide for the academic year 2021/2022.

Last academic year was one of many changes due to the COVID-19 crisis. A year of trial and error for both students and teachers and of course our own team. We were extremely happy with the flexibility everyone has shown and are proud of the course curriculum we were able to offer.

In some ways, the situation as it was forced upon us has brought positive insights regarding online teaching. It has made our programme available to a wider group of PhD candidates in and outside of the Netherlands.
For this reason, and of course the uncertainty we are still facing in terms of COVID-19, we have decided that most of our courses will be again online, with an exception for the ones we feel an offline version is the better option.

Our offer of courses again contains both transferable skills workshops and methods modules, with new courses about 'Ethnography', 'Matlab data skills & tools for the Social Sciences' and 'Open science framework: A hands-on tutorial'. We also offer new workshops in informal settings: Challenges for Supervisors, Conversations with the Dean and the PhD Alumni Dialogue Series.

We wish you a great new academic year, and please, as always, do not hesitate to contact our team if you have questions, comments or suggestions.
