Call open for all expenses paid seminar in London, UK by International Social Science Council (ISSC)
The International Social Science Council (ISSC) has recently opened a call for applications for talented PhD students in the Social Sciences to participate in the week long seminar on “Global Social Governance” from 28 July – 3 August in London, UK. The twenty selected Fellows will have all expenses covered. Deadline for applications is the 2nd of March 2014.
The seminar is organised in collaboration with the UK Academy of Social Sciences and the Centre for International Studies at the London School of Economics. Download the call for applications for more information.

A particular feature of the seminar as a capacity building component designed to foster international and interdisciplinary social research and agenda-setting initiatives. The seminar sets the stage for new international research collaborations to emerge on themes such as global health policy, demography and social policy, welfare, and civil society.
Fellows will have the opportunity to continue working together after the seminar to pursue joint research initiatives and co-authored publications on topics developed during the seminar.
