Workshop data management rescheduled to January 8
The workshop Data Management, organised in cooperation with the University Library, has been rescheduled to January 8, from 14.30 till 17.00. The workshop is free of charge and PhD candidates from all department are welcome to enrol. The maximum number of participants is 15. To participate in the workshop please sent your application (name, email, short outline research project) to Roel Otten, before Wednesday January 1st.
Vast amounts of research data require careful data management. Therefore the EGS3H is organizing a workshop on data management in cooperation with the University Library. The workshop is geared toward starting PhD students and in will discuss the questions to consider when creating a data management plan.
At the end of the workshop PhD students: will have a understanding of the core building blocks of a data management plan; are able to apply the building blocks to their own research project using a data management checklist, and; will where to find reliable information and advice about data management and storage at the EUR.
