To further stimulate and reward PhD research, the Graduate School invites its PhD candidates and recent graduates to submit their work and nominate their colleagues and supervisors for the "Graduate School Awards for PhD Excellence". The deadline for submission is Friday 13 January 2023.
Dr. Esther Rozendaal has been appointed dean of the Erasmus Graduate School of Social Sciences and the Humanities (EGSH) by the Supervisory Board as of 1 September 2022. She will focus on strengthening the academic resilience of PhD candidates. Esther Rozendaal succeeds Prof. Liesbet van Zoonen.
The EUR Design Impact Transition platform is looking to support mid-career academics that want to work with them on societal challenges in an inter- and transdisciplinary way through an ‘academic assignment’ that helps them to turn their societal engagement and cross disciplinary ambitions into appreciated regular work. Given the DIT academics already engaged, they are especially looking for candidates from ESE, RSM, ESL, ESSB and ESHPM.

People’s resilience differs. Some people feel they can handle just about everything, while others may feel less secure from time to time. The good news is that you can learn to be more resilient. This workshop teaches you the skills to do just that.
