i-Apply is an application and admission system for aspiring PhD students whom can secure their own funding. PhD admission can now be centralised, more transparent and straightforward, for aspiring PhD students and doctoral supervisors alike.
The Research Master programme Sociology of Culture, Media and Arts has received such positive assessments in the 2014 Selection Guide Masters (Keuzegids Masters 2014), that the programme is allowed to carry the prestigious quality label 'Top programme' in the forthcoming year.
The International Social Science Council (ISSC) has recently opened a call for applications for talented PhD students in the Social Sciences to participate in the week long seminar on “Global Social Governance” from 28 July – 3 August in London, UK. The twenty selected Fellows will have all expenses covered. Deadline for applications is the 2nd of March 2014.
The Graduate School is streamlining its curriculum. We intend to build on intense feedback of students in the existing courses. For the remainder of this academic year, therefore, PhD students will only have to pay a registration fee of 20 euros for each separate course.
