During the International Film Festival Rotterdam on Tuesday 27 January 2015, Erasmus University Rotterdam launched the Center for Histories of the Future (CHIFT). This new center researches science fiction and focuses on current technological and societal changes to imagine the future. CHIFT is an initiative of media scholar dr. Etienne Augé of the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication.
The Oslo Summer School in Comparative Social Science Studies provides PhD research courses that aim to cover all of the academic disciplines within the social sciences. Between 20 - 24 July and 27 - 31 July a total of 11 PhD courses will be available.
