The Graduate's School abbreviation has been changed from EGS3H to EGSH. The full name of the Erasmus Graduate School of Social Sciences and the Humanities will remain the same.
The upcoming edition of the Dean's Master Class will focus on the research theme 'The City' from four disciplinary angles: Sociology, Development Studies, Media Studies and Philosophy. The respective speakers are: Prof.dr. Jack Burgers, Dr. Helen Hintjens, Dr. Erik Hitters and Dr. Henk Oosterling.
In January and February the Graduate School will have two PhD courses at the ISS campus in The Hague. These courses have been scheduled to take place in The Hague to better serve our ISS PhD candidates. We still have several spots available so do not forget to register.
Loughborough University (UK) is offering advanced training in the social sciences in five areas, delivered through a series of two-day workshops. Five free places are available to external students on each course supported through ESRC-funded bursaries, covering the cost of travel, subsistence, overnight stay and course fees.
The programme allows scholars to conduct independent research from 30 to 90 days at one of China's top universities. Researchers from the following fields can apply: political science, sociology, economics, environment, finance, and other fields of the social sciences.
