This three hour workshop focuses on practical aspects of doing your literature review. After completion you will be able to prepare your literature search, organise your references and creating your own 'research information landscape'. The workshop is specifically designed for first year PhD candidates.
After a very successful first edition, the next Erasmus University PhD Career Day will take place on 20 April 2017. The event will be a combination of presentations, skills workshops and private consultancies. You can also have your LinkedIn profile photo taken and have your CV checked by a career advisor.
On April 3rd the Graduate School will launch the first e-module on 'PhD information skills'. The e-module is part of the Graduate School’s ambition to enhance its courses with compact e-learning packages. This is especially to service international PhD candidates.
During the event Graduate School dean Liesbet van Zoonen and rector magnificus Huibert Pols will announce the winners of the 2016 "Graduate School Award for PhD Excellence". Before the award ceremony, two of last years winners, Niels van Poecke and Samira van Bohemen, will give a short presentation of their work.
