Awarded annually by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), the 250.000 euro Veni grant is one of the most prestigious and highly competitive grants for young researchers. This year the procedure for candidates (applying to the domain Social Science and Humanities) has changed to a two-stage submission: pre-proposal and full proposal. The deadline for pre-proposals is on 28 August 2018. Only pre-selected candidates will be allowed to submit their full proposal early January 2019.

In the workshop 'How to obtain a Veni grant?' you will learn more about the new 2-stage application procedure, writing a funding proposal abstract and preparing your CV. Furthermore, Dr. Willem de Koster (Veni laureate, reviewer and committee member) will give you tips and tricks on obtaining a Veni grant.

Unable to attend on 7 June?

Those who will not be able to attend the Veni Workshop on Thursday 7 June, 2018 (40 places available), will have the opportunity to attend the Veni Workshop on Wednesday, 13 June 2018, from 14.00 until 16.30 hrs (Mandeville building, room T3-42), organised by Veerle van Laere, RSM Director of Grant Development (20 places available).
